Shipping & Delivery

  1. Attention please : We have two kinds of products- Ready to ship and Pre booking (made to do)  if your order contains both items, we will dispatch the complete order only once the made to do products are also ready, kindly do not place your order with pre booking products if it’s time sensitive . The product status will be mentioned as ready to ship or pre booking above the product title , our humble request .

We at House of Jhumkas know how important it is to receive your purchased products in the finest condition, and on time. So we use a large network of couriers to deliver your products to you as early as possible.

      WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
     Once you've placed the order with us,the product is dispatched  to you within 7-10 working  days days for all items that are ready to ship.  (We are closed on Saturday-Sunday/Public Holidays)

  • The shipping duration will vary from 1-5 days depending upon the pin code and its distance from its nearest city.
  • Free shipping is available in subject to a minimum order value. A charge of Rs. 100/- will be applied to all orders below Rs. 2000/-
  • The whole order amount including any delivery charges will be refunded if the order is damaged, lost or undelivered to your preferred location. We also do not have the facility of reverse pick up in case of returns as we are a small business and not Amazon. 
  • We do not ship the same day/next day or in any urgent manner. As we do not want to take any additional stress if the order is time sensitive. Please avoid placing orders if you need the products urgently unless you are in Chennai,TN.
  • If your pin code is not serviceable by DTDC, kindly inform us prior to dispatch so we can directly ship via speed post India .

    HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ORDER IS DISPATCHED?

  • We provide you with a tracking number and a link to track to your order via E-mail once the order is dispatched, we request you to take the responsibility to carefully track your order till its delivery. DTDC attempts delivery twice and if they don’t deliver, please alert us. So we can make sure it gets delivered. If it’s sent back to us after two failed attempts and this wasn’t notified to us , A second shipping fee is added as we are incurring double charges from DTDC. So please make sure to track your package until delivery . 
  • We do not have a personal delivery system or team who can call you in advance before delivering a product and we absolutely cannot decide the specific time period the package has to be delivered. We use courier services like DTDC, Professional ,etc to do the delivery and it’s entirely Upto the particular service/delivery staff when it comes to the delivery. We have no authority over their service and timings. 

  • In case it has been delivered at your address , but it was collected by security staff, House help, neighbor etc. We do not have any guarantee regarding such cases As There will be no advance call or communication from the courier companies while delivering your order, so kindly track your order regularly to receive with no hassles. 
  • Shipping Updates are given only via email. There shall be no calls made regarding the same. 
  • House of Jhumkas will not be responsible for any delay in delivery by the courier company and only guarantees to hand over the consignment to the courier company within 7-10 working days from the date of the order and payment.

    IS CASH ON DELIVERY AVAILABLE?

  • Yes, But only in Chennai,TN (within city limits).
  • additional charge of 250 (depending on location) INR is added as Personal door to door Delivery fee. 
  • To place, C.O.D orders, Please WhatsApp us on +91 866-8151225.
  • We also offer Pick up facility at our residence in Chennai where you can come in person to collect and pick up your order. Kindly place your order on our website and mention your order number to us in WhatsApp. We will then share our address details to you. However we do not showcase/display our products for sale/Trial as its our personal residence not a work space. 
  • One can Whatsapp us the screenshots of the desired products from our Website and We shall keep the said items ready to be picked up. 

    WHAT IF I RECEIVE MY PARCEL IN AN OPENED CONDITION?

  • We ship our packages inside an anti-tamper plastic sealed pouches, 

    If you feel that your package was opened/tampered with, please don't accept delivery. Always check the outside cover for the package. look out for any torn corners...and in case of such unfortunate event, kindly  Return it back to the delivery staff and mention it has been tampered with and also take pictures of the same.
